But that no longer has to remain a dream! Nowadays you can actually get to know exactly what it is like to speed around the Silverstone circuit when you choose one of the many driving experiences on offer there. Whichever experience you decide to go for, you will have achieved a dream of driving a top vehicle at Silverstone.
The Audi R8 will give you a great driving experience on the Silverstone tracks. In order to enjoy the Audi R8 experience, you, or the person for whom you buy the experience, must be over the age of 21 and have held a full UK driving licence for at least three years. Trying out the Audi R8 is something that is designed for the more experienced driver. You can buy a Silverstone driving experience voucher, which will be valid for ten months from the date of purchase and you will be able to choose the date and time that is best for you.
When you arrive at Silverstone for your driving experience you will be greeted and introduced to your instructor and you can expect the experience to last about an hour. The instructor will give you a full ten minute briefing on the car and on handling it around the track; you will also be given safety tips. Once the briefing is done you will be able to drive any choice of supercars, including the R8 around Silverstone. When the drive is finished you will be presented with a certificate as a reminder of your experience of driving an Audi R8 for three laps at Silverstone!
