We start with an in depth lesson covering safety principles, rally driving essentials and tips that will help even the most experienced rally driver put the rally car and driver to the test. Not only will you put this learning into action, through a series of moderated rally driving situations, you will also see our expert rally drivers perform on the track. Your rally driving experience includes handbrake turns, Hill Jumping and the famous Scandinavian Flick - you will be taught how all these and more are performed and learn first-hand from watching the pros do it.

Why the Rally Driving Experience?
Rally driving is a sport that many men would love to be able to take part in, at the very least they’d jump at the chance of being able to drive a rally car and put it through its paces on the track. If you want to treat the man in your life to an extra special gift then you might want to consider a voucher for a rally driving experience. Most driving experiences work in a similar way, either you choose a date and time and pay for it, or you get a voucher that is valid for ten months from the purchase date, and the person can choose the date and time to best suit their needs.
Rally driving experiences are available at a number of venues across the UK The half day rally experience at Bicester is very popular and there is a choice of cars, including a four wheel drive Subaru Impreza, an immensely powerful Japanese machine. You will need either a full UK or international driving licence to take part in the experience which lasts for around three and a half hours. The rally driving experience usually runs between March and November on selected Saturdays.
When you arrive for your experience you will be met by a fully qualified instructor who will give you a safety briefing, then it will be time to get into the car with your instructor. Then you will be driven in the car and given hands on instruction in driving the car and using the track. Then you’ll go to the practice area and learn how to make fast turns etc, and then you get to do your runs through the special rally stages. At the end of your drive there will be a debriefing session where the instructor will assess your driving prowess. This is a great experience that you’ll want to repeat.
