After you have completed your initial safety brief and off road driver training we aquaint you with the fully equipped 4x4 beast that is to be yours for the day. Our expert instructors know these machines back to front and will teach you just how to tackle the all the off road experiences you could encounter, utilising the car to its utmost effectiveness. Whether it is deep ruts or steep descents, they have the answers and the skills to show you just how it is done.

Why the Off Road Driving Experience?
You may be used to driving the family car but there are probably times when it feels a bit sedate where you would like to be doing some more adventurous driving. If you dream of the excitement of screeching brakes and rough terrain then an off road driving experience might be just the thing for you. If you are someone who is looking for that special present for your dad or brother then an off road driving experience day will earn you lots of brownie points.
There are a number of off road driving experiences that you can choose from when you get a voucher. The voucher is valid for ten months from the date of purchase and you can then choose a day and time that is suitable for you. One of the more popular off road driving experiences is the Extreme 4x4 at Silverstone (available throughout the UK as well). You would be introduced to the Landrover Defender, which is a powerful, and superb off road vehicle.
When you arrive for your training day you will be provided with safety equipment and be given a safety briefing. The Defender is a purpose built off road vehicle and you will receive instruction in the techniques that you will need to drive the vehicle and navigate the course in safety. With this experience you can take advantage of the option to take two passengers along on to enjoy the experience with you. The instructor will take you for a demonstration lap around the course after your instruction and safety briefing, when that is over it will be your turn to take the wheel for the driving experience of your life. The entire experience will last for around fifty minutes and at the end of your drive you will receive a debrief from the instructor. The activity is only suitable for drivers over the age of 18.
