Get behind the wheel of the amazing Lotus Exige.
Used for Touring Cars and Superbike races, Thruxton is the UK 's fastest race circuit and the Exige is the ideal car to make the most of it. Spending all your time in the Lotus, the instructor has plenty of time to improve your driving technique and your confidence. The Elise is an incredible car with a massive 189bhp, and is worth over £30,000. You are sure to notice a big difference between your first lap and your last!

We will despatch items by first class Royal Mail up to 3pm Tue 23rd Dec, but advise you to order by 3pm Sat 20th Dec if you require your gift in time for Christmas. Orders taken up to 12pm Tue 23rd Dec for guaranteed next day delivery will be delivered by 1pm Wed 24th Dec.

After a 30 minute safety briefing where you will be talked through the car 's capabilities and the racing lines on the track, it 's into the passenger seat for three demonstration laps driven by your instructor. Then you take the wheel for seven laps. After a break, it 's back behind the wheel for a further seven laps followed by one final instructor driven lap to show you how it 's done. The experience lasts for two hours.
Notes
On purchasing this experience you will be sent an open dated gift voucher with 10 months validity. Approximate time on the track is one hour and five minutes, shared with one other pupil. All participants must have a full valid UK driving licence which must be presented on the day. Courses available on weekdays only. You 'll be spending a lot of time outside so wear appropriate clothing but when driving you must wear long trousers, long sleeved top and thin soled narrow shoes as the pedals in racing cars are very close together. Minimum height 5 ' 2 ' Maximum height 6 ' 4 '.
