Drifting - the experience day!
When arriving at your chosen location don't expect to be out of there in an hour because this experience will be something you will want to savour, not rush. In fact you'll probably have so much fun, you won't want to leave. You'll go through a training session where your instructor will brief you on all the road rules that you need to know plus special drifting techniques such as the Choku-Dori, E-brake and Feint Drift. Unless you're an enthusiast you probably won't have even heard these terms before you arrive for your drifting experience, but you'll walk away from it feeling like an expert. Then once you've been taught all there is to know about "drifting" you'll be given the thumbs up and pushed out on the Drift Track.
At first it may seem a bit daunting, but then the trainer's voice will come back to you and as you approach a turn you'll know how to do the Feint Drift so it'll come smoothly and you won't wreck your vehicle. You'll know when you should or shouldn't use the e-brake (or hand brake), which also stands for emergency braking. You'll even know you're on the right path if your front wheels are angled the complete opposite from your back. As other cars zoom by, tire marks all over the course and a smoky burn-out surrounding you, you'll really feel like a pro drifting driver.
Your drifting experience will be one that you remember even long after the event when you're driving your own car. You'll sit back and remember the trainer teaching you the braking, clutch control and steering techniques of your vehicle even months later. It truly is an experience of a lifetime.

Drifting is a year round sport that is only suitable for people over the age of 17 who are reasonably fit, with a valid driving license.
