About Donington Park
Donington Park National Circuit is one of the most famous circuits in the UK and it's a favourite of many professional racing drivers. The original Donington track was opened in 1931, and initially used for motorcycle races before hosting the Donington Grand Prix and British Grand Prix.
After the rebuilding of the track in 1977, Donington has held meetings of the British Touring Car Championship and British Superbikes and as well as the 1993 F1 European Grand Prix. This race was won by the late Ayrton Senna, and was described by AtlasF1 as the 'Drive of the Decade'. Other events taking place at the track include the World Series by Renault and the Great and British Motorsport Festival.

Introductory Junior Rally Driving - I brought this gift for my son for his birthday and we were both very happy with it. Donington Park is based on the border of Leicestershire and Derbyshire, not far from Nottingham, Derby and Leicester. It is easily reached by the M1, M42 and A50.
